PSC’s Apprenticeship Programme in Carpentry and Joinery is aimed at those who are already working in a carpentry role or those who wish to work in the carpentry industry. There are two possible routes; Site Carpentry or Bench Joinery.
Apprenticeships in Site Carpentry cover all aspects of conforming to health and safety in the workplace, installing first and second fix components, erecting structural carcassing components, maintaining non-structural carpentry work, and using circular saws.
Apprenticeships in Bench Joinery cover all aspects of conforming to health and safety in the workplace, producing setting out details for routine products, marking out from setting out details for routine products, and manufacturing routine products.

Under the Train to Gain Programme individuals who are already employed in a carpentry role, but not eligible for an apprenticeship, may be able to access training to enhance their existing knowledge and skills. Please contact us to find out more.
