PSC works with a host of employers, both large and small. The NHS, Underhills, Wrigleys and many more work with PSC to make learning a success.

" Working in partnership with PSC Training and Development, Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust are able to give our learners the skills that they need to gain future employment and to move into a successful career in Administration. The learners that we work with are motivated and focused individuals.  Coupled with this is the relevant and industry specific training provided by both ourselves and PSC through the programmes which allows us to produce a highly trained workforce for the future."

Apprenticeships
- PSC can offer apprenticeships, which help you to stay competitive by developing the people you need for the future. The programmes are designed by business industry specialists who will compile the framework to meet your needs. We genuinely understand your business and the training will always be relevant.

You may already have an employee in mind or you may wish us to help recruit for your business. Either way Apprenticeships are easy to set up, are fully supported by PSC, and are a great way to support your business.

Apprentices learn through a combination of on and off the job training; on the job with you and your staff and off the job in the classroom and on the workshop floor at PSC (usually one day a week). There is no waiting list to start training, as we offer a roll on start throughout the year.

Train to Gain logoTrain to Gain - Launched in August 2006, this programme offers free NVQ and Skills for Life training to those in employment but without a pre-existing NVQ Level 2 qualification. Working closely with you as the employer and your employees, PSC can provide quality, effective training for you in your place of work. NVQ's on offer include; Team Leading, Business Improvement Techniques, Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, Warehousing and Distribution, Customer Service and many more.  If you are interested in Train to Gain, please contact us to find out more.

Private Training - PSC Training & Development are able to offer a range of qualifications for employers on a private basis. These courses often suit those that do not fall into any of the above categories but are keen to enhance their skills or learn new ones. Please contact us to find out more.

Work Experience - At PSC we run specific programmes for learners to gain the skills and experience required to move into employment.  Work Experience can involve giving a learner your time and experience for a few weeks, or can act as a work trial prior to you taking them on as an Apprentice. PSC matches the appropriate learner to the needs of your business and supports both parties throughout the programme. Please contact us to find out more.
